Same problem here, I'm clicking on an advisor in all scenarios and nothing happens. I've done this even when I'm on age II, III or IV. Does anyone know what's causing this?
Are you making sure to click on the "Confirm Choices" button at the bottom after selecting an advisor for every age?
I tested in editor+ game, no problems.
Remember that you need to be in age II minimum for those advisors to be activated.
It would be behind-the-scenes.
The first effect sets the parameters for the pop-up (thus allowing for up to 8 different choices).
The second would actually display the pop-up and handle the visual parameters (text).
As for a beta version, I could release one but due to how things are likely to change and become incompatible with the final version, it would be of no use to insert in scenarios right now. If you're still interested though, I can probably have one ready in a few hours (though once again, for private/internal testing purposes only).
Actually, I realized that if I tweak how things work and split it up into two trigger effects (one that sets what each choice does, and one that brings up the choice dialog with text), then it will be able to allow up to 8 choices, which should be sufficient for all intents and purposes.
The issue is still with deciding upon a suitable design, of course. If anyone has any suggestions for an 8-choice dialog with 3 text outputs, feel free to post them in here.
